Colin Rawlings is an electrical engineer and holds a starred first from the University of Cambridge where he also received his PhD. During his PhD he developed a model for the coupled tip-sample system formed when imaging soft magnetic materials in a magnetic force microscope. Colin spent four years at IBM Research – Zurich investigating the behavior of thin polymer films for applications in marker-less overlay. He also worked on model-based control schemes for tSPL and the simulation of particles in nanofluidic systems fabricated using tSPL.
Colin supports the implementation of automation and control algorithm in the NanoFrazor.
